An information meeting regarding YTB and TR-YÖS was held for the parents of 12th grade students.

The Turkish Maarif Foundation organized an information meeting for the parents of our 12th-grade students at our Hargeisa Campus regarding YTB (Turkish Scholarships) and TR-YÖS (Turkish International Student Admission Exam).

Scholarship opportunities, the examination process, and university application stages were discussed in detail at the meeting.

During the speeches at the opening of the program, information was provided about the guidance programs conducted to ensure that our students can make the most of their opportunities in higher education abroad.

The school emphasized that it supports its students not only in their academic achievements but also in their university preparation processes.

During the meeting, our Deputy Principal, Hamze ÖMER ALİ, shared his educational experiences in Turkey with the parents. Speaking about his experiences as a student in Turkey, Mr. ÖMER ALİ provided information about the university environment, academic discipline, and student life. He also touched upon the academic and cultural opportunities that studying in Turkey offers students, stating that this process significantly contributes to their development.

Following this, our Psychological Counselor, Amal OSMAN, gave a presentation providing information about scholarship support and efforts towards university success. In her speech, she touched upon increasing students' academic motivation, providing proper guidance, and the importance of setting planned university goals. She also emphasized that thanks to the school's guidance services, students receive one-on-one support throughout the scholarship and university application processes.

In the final part of the meeting, our Student Affairs Officer, Sacad ABDİRAHMAN, shared technical information regarding the YTB scholarship application process and the TR-YÖS exam. He provided detailed explanations about the application steps, required documents, and exam schedule. He also informed about the scope of the scholarship, stating that it covers airfare, university placement support, health insurance, and educational opportunities. He also explained the points students should pay attention to during the application process, offering guidance to ensure a smooth process.

At the end of the meeting, parents' questions were answered, and one-on-one consultations were held regarding the university preparation process. It was stated that the program is an important guidance step for our students' future.
